Okay, so the 41st anniversary is not as glamorous as the 40th, but it's still a groovy way to spend a couple of days! Program your iPod with Richie Havens, Joan Baez, 
Arlo Guthrie, Jefferson Airplane, and Jimi Hendrix, put the top down and head back up to Max Yasgur’s farm to relive the decade that defined a generation. Just about 30 scenic miles from the inn you can experience the interactive displays that commemorate the Woodstock festival. Walk around the actual site and enjoy today's Woodstock site, Bethel Woods performing arts center and museum. Feel the peace, love, and joy.
By the way, Innkeepers Grant and Jeanne Genzlinger attended Woodstock in 1969 (really – they did!) and enjoy sharing memories.
On the way home, stop in the sweet river town, Narrowsburg, New York and wander along the quaint block of shops, galleries, and cafés. Be sure to view the town deck that overlooks the beautiful Delaware river. (Hint: get a coffee at the Narrowsburg Roasters and sip on the bench overlooking the river).
