Guest chefs Estele Rojas Elgueta and her brother Jaime Rojas Elgueta, both Chile natives, join chef Ben in presenting an authentic meal (complete with classic empanadas and the Chilean national drink, Picso Sour). These "south of the equator" specialties will join perfect pairings from renowned

Make time to visit Hawley's premier art exhibit "Art on the Edge." Hosted by the Wayne County Arts Alliance, this extraordinary exhibit features an informed cross section of what is happening now in regional contemporary art. Held in a newly remodeled 5,000 square foot space on the first floor of the Hawley Silk Mill, the show is free and open to the public from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Mid-summer Friday nights are the perfect time for an informal wine walk through Hawley! Start at The Settlers Inn at our "Wine Chat with the Wine Chick" where you will enjoy an informal, unassuming and entertaining hour of wine tastings and discussion with our sommelier and wine professional, Leslie Chappell-Britt from 5-6 pm. Then, mosey over to the Hawley Silk Mill for a wine and cheese reception at the Art on the Edge exhibit (see above) from 6-8 pm. Finish off the evening at Glass Wine Bar & Bistro at the newly opened Ledges Hotel. "Glass" offers panoramic views of the stunning gorge and waterfalls while you sip vino from an extensive wine, beer and cocktail list. Glass’ menu also features small plates for sharing.
