Please put Wednesday evenings at the inn on your summer calendar. The tradition continues beginning July 8, with a cool new jazz line up. New performers this year are Java, a well blended, unplugged, jazz/blues influenced acoustic duo, and The Liberto Trio featuring Ralph Liberto on sax with piano and bass. Some returning favorites are pianist David Epstein, trombonist Gary Rixner and The Big Bang Jazz Gang. We wind up the season with a special performance by international musicians Anat Fort on piano with Stefan Bauer playing vibes. Be sure to take time for a stroll in our newly expanded gardens created by garden designer Michael Levine, then kick back for great food, fun, and all that jazz!
* Wednesdays, July 8 – August 26
* Music from 6-9 pm.
* On the deck. Rain or shine.
* Dinner begins at 5:00. No reservations.

There is so much to do at the lake. Take a cruise at Lake Wallenpaupack Scenic Boat Tours and then spend the day on the sandy beach at the Palmyra Township Public Beach. Be sure to visit the new Wallenpaupack Visitors Center while you are there. Shuman Point Natural Area offers a three-mile hike that has beautiful views and accesses the shoreline at several points. Pocono School of Sailing offers lessons and sailboat rentals at Lighthouse Harbor Marina. Pontoon boats, ski boats, and fishing boats are all available here as well. But, if you're in the mood for just soaking up the scenery, find this bench (see photo, left) and enjoy!
