What better time to taste our fine seasonal foods prepared with fresh, local ingredients or to while away a weekend of blissful and luxurious leisure time.

Let's celebrate spring!

The Third Night is a Charm
Spring fever can be contagious! So give a healthy shot of satisfaction to your special someone by booking an April escape to The Settlers Inn today! Throughout April The Inn is offering a Spring Lodging Special that includes your third night free on any two-night stay. Book your stay online. Ride On
While you're staying at The Inn, be sure to sample some of the excellent outdoor activities available nearby. Bring along your bicycles and peddle along the historic towpath, which parallels the scenic Lackawaxen River. This fun day trip can be customized to fit your itinerary. Call it a day early and head back to The Inn for a refreshing repast in our Chestnut Tavern, or travel on past The Eagle Institute and cross the Delaware at the Roebling Bridge. Continue towards the charming hamlet of Barryville, NY, and stop for lunch at River Market.

Hooked on Hospitality
If angling is more your passion than peddling, Saturday, April 18 is opening day of trout season in Pennsylvania. The Delaware and Lackawaxen rivers, just a few short miles from The Inn, are considered to be some of the most excellent trout waters in the country. Bring your rod and tackle and head out early to catch a lunker! If you're new to the sport, or would like the low-down on the best local fishing holes, check in with fishing guide John Appert for advice or a tour.
