If great food and music are your passion you’ll definitely want to order a gourmet picnic from The Inn and head over to the Dorflinger-Suydam Wildlife Sanctuary for a concert under the stars.
Be sure to place your picnic order at least 48 hours in advance. Picnics may be picked up between 4 and 5 PM at The Settlers Inn front desk on the day of the concert. See our events schedule below for concert dates and call 570-226-2993 to order your picnic.
The Inn will also host Café Concert with Panache on July 10 in conjunction with the “Weekend of Chamber Music”. The evening will feature selections from Bach, Handel and Scarlatti.

Join us for a festive evening outdoors as we welcome guest chef Barrie Aycock of Glen-Ella Springs who will dazzle guests with her favorite southern barbecue recipes like Brunswick Stew and Barbecued Chicken. Wine Steward Claude Briere will compliment her tantalizing menu with a variety of light summer wines. The event, including dinner, will be held by the Inn’s lush garden.
Downtown Hawley is celebrating the spirit of summer by kicking off its First Friday series this month with the help of the Downtown Hawley Partnership. Visit the village on the first Friday of each month to experience the streets filled with art, music and performers.
Many shops and galleries will be open until 8:30 PM, and will feature special events including an artist’s reception at Artisan Gallery, an old-fashioned popcorn machine at Penny Lane Candies and, of course, jazz on the deck at The Settlers Inn. House pianist Frank Williams has put together his own jazz trio for the kickoff TONIGHT – July 6.
