Outdoor dining has been the hallmark of summer 2005 at The Settlers Inn. Our Jazz Series has been wildly successful and The Wild Game BBQ on July 29 was extremely well-attended. The weather was perfect and guests enjoyed dining around our lovely garden at the back of the Inn. There is only one more summer casual outdoor wine dinner before we move inside for our Fall Wine Dinner Series (see schedule below). Don’t miss this distinctive event Wine and Tapas Night on August 19.
Our last outdoor wine dinner of the season features Chef Durand preparing a variety of traditional Spanish dishes, including Gazpacho with watermelon, Tortilla de patatas, Heirloom tomato tapenade on crostini, Spiced baby clams, Cured Serrano ham with melon, Sweet and sour lamb meatballs, Spiced duck with cherry sauce, Roasted beets in a garlic sauce, Salted spiced almonds, Spanish cheeses, and more! Sommelier Claude Brière will pair these savory dishes with a dozen wines from the best and upcoming wine regions of Spain.
