Summer is in full swing here in the beautiful Pocono Mountains. Long warm days mean plenty of hours to enjoy the great outdoors. Hike, bike, fish, boat, swim — it’s all right in the area. Outdoor activities also abound here on The Settlers Inn gardens and grounds. Stroll by the Lackawaxen River or in the garden, indulge in a hammock nap, dine outdoors on the terrace, or treat yourself to a shopping experience in the potting shed — our garden gift shop.

Food, Fun and all that Jazz

The Settlers Inn is proud to present the third annual Summer Jazz Series from mid-July through mid-August. Robin Aleman Quartet — Robin Aleman and Janna Genzlinger vocals with piano and bass. Janna Genzlinger is the coordinator for the Settlers Inn season.

Gary Rixner Trio — Rixner, a tenor and bass trombonist, has played with many national acts including The Delaware Water Gap Festival Big Band, The Temptations, Frankie Valle, Bill Haley and the Comets, and The Four Tops.

Whether you are a member of our Frequent Dining Program, or a local looking for tasty morning fare, you’ll love our new breakfast menu — now offered to the public from 7:30 to 10:30. Come savor a fluffy stack of Paupack blueberry pancakes, a wonderful daily omelet, artisan bread French toast, and much more. If you aren’t registered for our Frequent Dining Program, you can register now by sending us an e-mail with your name, address and e-mail to Anastasia@thesettlersinn.com and we will send you a frequent diner membership card. August Wine Dinner

Mark your calendars for Friday, August 19 at 7 pm. Chef Durand will prepare a variety of traditional Spanish Tapas accompanied by a variety of Spanish wines. Cost is $65, plus tax and gratuity. Watch for more details in a few weeks.
